The 24 karat solid gold toilet is part of a display at he company’s Hong Kong showroom, which is dubbed the “Hall of Gold,” and contains several opulent handcrafted treasures. The toilet is not meant to be used and is only one part of a larger display of gold items entitled, “The World’s Most Expensive Gold and Jewelry Sparkling Environmental Friendly Washroom.” The toilet is not for sale, although if you really want one badly enough, the Hang Fu Gold Technology Group could probably be persuaded to make one for you.

It won’t come cheap. If the posh potty room were to be melted down today, the company would gross a cool $32 million on materials alone. Labor costs for a new sold gold potty would push that price even higher, and then there’s the design issue. Maybe porcelain isn’t so bad after all.

The gold toilet is equipped with advanced plasma mirror and digital control devices. The decoration material used is gilded marble. The gilded toilet has been fascinatingly christened ‘Moscow.’ Other than the gold-plated toilet, there are luxury swimsuits, sofas, and chairs at the luxury exhibition and the pricing for these luxurious things start at US $5,000.

The main aim of the Extravaganza luxury exhibition was to gather interesting, unusual and extravagant goods and services under one roof. The three-day program was filled with on-stage entertainment acts, fashion shows and interactive presentations from dawn until dusk.
