We had been wondering why the Thomas Prescher front was quiet all this while. And now we learn that the luxury watch maker was busy with its new creation which is dubbed the Tempus Vivendi collection. This one come right from the designer’s workshop and it carries a certain timepiece that is currently holding everyone’s interest – the Qatar watch.

As the name suggest, this luxurious accessory is dedicated to the nation of Qatar, which is well known for its fondness for a rich life. It has the double retrograde hands stems that go back to the 19th century, which is a trait typical to the Tempus Vivendi collection. This concept permits a very artistic way of telling time while letting the craftsmen to work on the imagery on the watch face.

People have always been fascinated by insects much as they hate them. This is both technically significant – and has been since the design premiered in 1860 – and aesthetically inimitable. It takes seven days of work per watch to achieve the finish on the bridges. It is only available in pink gold.

The exquisite yellow gold pocket watch was made in 1989 and remains the most complex timepiece in the world. The Caliber 89, an open-faced astronomical watch with two dials, was made to mark the watch brand’s 150th anniversary. It has 33 complications in five categories of functions: timekeeping, calendar, chronograph, chime, and operational functions. There are only four models—one each in yellow, pink, and white gold, and one in platinum.

The pocket watch is very thick and weights 1.1kg! The case is done in 18k yellow gold. It was made to honor the 150th anniversary of the important Swiss brand. This watch contained 332 screws, 129 rubies, 429 mechanical components, 68 springs, 24 hands, 184 wheels, it has a perpetual and secular calendar, phases of the moon, a chronograph and it chimes too!

The entire front and back of the 105GMT Gold Luxury Mechanical Watch mobile phone has been crafted from large pieces of sapphire crystal. The 24 Karat gold, hand painted lettering and symbols further add to the beauty of the device. The frame is precision CNC machined from solid brass and is then finished with a 5 micron thick 24-Carat coating of gold. Each pair of wood inserts on the sides of the phone is CNC machined from the same piece of solid ebony wood.

The 105GMT Gold incorporates a unique dual mechanical watch movement, the Discovery mechanism, which allows the users to set two international time zones and use the electronic phone time for the local time, thereby making it possible to view three times zones simultaneously. Each Swiss mechanical watch movement contains 25 jeweled bearings, performs 28,800 vibrations per hour, has 28 hours of power reserve, and is a self-winding automatic mechanism with ball-bearing. The 105GMT Discovery mechanism is also available in a diamond option, and 26 diamonds will be used in total.

The technical specs include a 2 megapixel camera and video camera, more than 1GB internal memory, 2″ display with up to 16 million colors, Bluetooth and micro USB connectivity, and a music player that supports AAC, eAAC+ and MP3 audio formats. No word on pricing, but we are not expecting it to come cheap.
