The Nokia N97 mini Gold Edition is one such offering from Nokia that will surely appeal to every luxury loving Nokia fan. Dressed in 18ct gold this phone woos the fashion conscious folks with applications like “ELLE 360Fashion” that gives the news on the latest fashion trends. The features of the Gold Edition remain similar to the original handset.

Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia, the largest handset vendor in the world, announced yet another version of one of its most popular products, the Nokia 6700 classic Gold Edition. The new device comes to the market on the footsteps of the Nokia 6700 classic, and sports stainless steel covers that also feature real gold plating of 18 carats.

Basically the standard 6700 Classic, Nokia have also loaded on some matching wallpapers, slotted in a complementary 8GB microSD and thrown a natural leather carrying case and strap into the box. With its 5 megapixel camera and high speed data access that allows easy upload of photos and videos to various on-line communities, the Nokia 6700 classic Gold Edition makes an outstanding sharing experience

Mobiado Professional 105 GMT Gold, which is an upshot of the marriage of luxury mechanical watches and luxury mobile phones. The 105GMT Gold was limited to 50 masterpieces, with the limited edition number being machine engraved into the back of each phone. The entire front and back of the 105GMT Gold Luxury Mechanical Watch mobile phone has been crafted from large pieces of sapphire crystal. The 105GMT Gold incorporates a unique dual mechanical watch movement, the Discovery

Each Swiss mechanical watch movement contains 25 jeweled bearings, performs 28,800 vibrations per hour, has 28 hours of power reserve, and is a self-winding automatic mechanism with ball-bearing. The 105GMT Discovery mechanism is also available in a diamond option, and 26 diamonds will be used in total.

The technical specs include a 2 megapixel camera and video camera, more than 1GB internal memory, 2″ display with up to 16 million colors, Bluetooth and micro USB connectivity, and a music player that supports AAC, eAAC+ and MP3 audio formats. No word on pricing, but we are not expecting it to come cheap.

China’s Qiao Xing Mobile has said that its luxury brand VEVA S60 mobile handset  has sold nearly 100,000 units since its release in May 2008. Through cooperation with Swarovski, each VEVA S60 is decorated with 129 Swarovski crystal mosaic and 18K gold coating.

The company says that it now aims to sell 300,000 units of VEVA S60 in the third quarter of 2008.
